We got our start in Huntsville in 2004 as Leslie Communities, and took the name Serenity Communities in 2008 as the mission came into sharper focus: a full-service mental health housing alternative where clients get real distance from the stresses of daily life, and counselors help them work through the root of what brought them to us.
Today Serenity Communities is based in Morgan County and serves the Huntsville Metro Area, North Alabama, and the Tennessee Valley — small enough to know every resident by name, and fully capable of meeting the county, state, and federal partners who refer people to us.
Founded in Huntsville as Leslie Communities.
Renamed Serenity Communities Corporation, with a clearer mission around mental health housing.
